Our take on Cro Magnon
Rather than beginning with an established civilization, the game starts with a small prehistoric clan struggling to secure food. Its strategy structure combines settlement growth with direct competition against rival clans, wildlife, and Neanderthals.
What is Cro Magnon?
Set in Europe in 39000 BC, Cro Magnon places players in command of a newly formed Cro Magnon clan competing for survival alongside other clans, wild animals, and aggressive Neanderthals.
The settlement begins with a small population that must scavenge or hunt for food. Over time, the clan gains knowledge of plants and animals, allowing it to grow crops and herd animals. Players must also manage population growth and protect the clan with warriors. Competition for limited local resources can lead to conflict with other Cro Magnon groups, while combat is also used against wildlife and Neanderthals. The stated objective is to preserve the clan and ultimately dominate competing groups.
