CasualIs Confessions worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- People interested in interactive art who want to submit personal thoughts
- Readers who want to browse other people's confessions without joining a discussion
- Writers who prefer to choose how anonymous their submissions are
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- People looking for gameplay will reach a dead end: the experience has no gameplay systems.
- Readers who expect to respond to or react to submissions will hit a hard stop, as those interactions are unavailable.
- People seeking a puzzle, rhythm, action, or strategy game will find no such play structure here.
Our take on Confessions
The clearest stopping point is after reading: there is no reply or reaction option, and the developer rules out adding one. Anyone expecting the confessions to open into a conversation will have nowhere to go within the experience.
What is Confessions?
Confessions is an interactive art installation with two activities: writing and reading.
Users can write down what is weighing on them and send the confession, or read submissions from other people. Confessions can be as anonymous as the writer chooses. There is no gameplay. Readers cannot reply to or react to confessions, and the developer says those functions will not be added.
How Confessions plays
- 01Write confessions
- Submit thoughts that are weighing on the writer.
- 02Read submissions
- Browse confessions written by other people.
- 03Choose anonymity
- Writers decide how anonymous their confessions are.
