Instead of moving through a fixed campaign of battles, it centers on surviving incoming waves while expanding one vulnerable stronghold. Random maps, exploration, disease and a potentially endless mode make endurance and base management part of the main structure.
What is Conan Unconquered?
Conan Unconquered is a survival real-time strategy game set in the world of Conan the Barbarian.
Players build a stronghold, manage food, gold, wood and iron, research technologies, train units, and place walls and traps against repeated attacks. Four heroes, including Conan, have distinct abilities and can use artifacts found during exploration. Maps are randomly generated, with ruins, treasures and guardians beyond the settlement. Soldiers and enemies leave bodies that can spread disease, while temples can summon a large avatar of Mitra. The game supports solo play and online co-op for two players, who share construction, upgrades and research. It also includes 10 challenges, an Unconquered Mode, leaderboards and player-submitted challenges.
