Our take on Command: Modern Operations
Rather than centering on a single unit or battlefield role, this simulation connects air, naval, ground, space, and strategic forces. Its scenario editor, Lua scripting, time-step controls, and Quick Battle Generator also replace a fixed campaign structure with customizable military exercises.
What is Command: Modern Operations?
Command: Modern Operations is a tactical and operational military simulation covering conflicts from post-World War II through 2020+ and beyond.
It models aircraft, ships, submarines, ground forces, installations, satellites, and strategic weapons, with crews affected by training, doctrine, and rules of engagement. Battles take place across terrain such as deserts, forests, urban areas, and swamps, where movement, visibility, weapon effects, and detection vary. The game includes more than 600 official and community scenarios, a Quick Battle Generator, a scenario editor, Lua scripting, and remastered original scenarios. Players can manage time-step execution, communications disruption, amphibious operations, airdrops, pickups, aircraft damage, and detailed air and naval engagements.
