ActionIs CMYW worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Groups of friends who want local co-op for up to 4 players
- Arcade shooter fans who enjoy survival runs with increasing enemy pressure
- Co-op players who like balancing resource collection and defending a shared objective
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want a fixed difficulty may hit a wall as pressure rises with time and score.
- Players seeking a narrative campaign may find the focus on survival, scoring, and repeated enemy encounters too limited.
- Solo players looking for a single-player experience may not want a game centered on cooperative survival.
Our take on CMYW
The pressure point is the run’s escalating threat: difficulty rises with both elapsed time and score, so players who cannot keep pace with the growing enemy challenge will hit a wall during longer attempts.
What is CMYW?
CMYW is a survival co-op game for up to 4 players, with retro arcade action inspired by classic space shooters.
Players work together to outlast enemies and earn a high score, balancing resource gathering with defense of their portal. Difficulty rises over time and with the score, bringing enemies with distinct challenges and greater rewards as the threat grows. The game includes power-ups and weapon upgrades, along with Bossteroids that present unique challenges. It supports local play for 1–4 players, full controller support, and online leaderboards.
How CMYW plays

- 03Power-Ups and Upgrades
- Pickups and weapon improvements provide ways to stay in combat.
- 04Online Leaderboards
