We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Puzzle fans who want card-based chain building rather than jigsaw puzzles.
- Casual players who prefer a relaxed mode over a more demanding challenge.
- Players who enjoy discovering story fragments through puzzle progress.
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking many different gameplay systems may find the card-chaining structure narrow.
- Those who want the full story presented at once may dislike narrative fragments being concealed behind heavy chains.
- Players looking for a shooter, runner, or rhythm game will find a different type of gameplay here.
Our take on Didgery
The focus on card chains gives the puzzle play a defined structure, but limits variety outside that central mechanic. The story is also delivered through concealed fragments, tying narrative discovery to progress through the puzzles.
What is Didgery?
Didgery combines playing cards with puzzle challenges.
Players link cards in planned sequences to revive the four suits and maintain equilibrium across the world. Building extended links unleashes spiritual force, which clears cards nearby. New special cards become available during progress, introducing alternate linking methods and shifting the tactical possibilities. Parchments concealed beneath demanding combinations reveal pieces of a tale about conscious writings imprisoned for ages, whose knowledge has been muted by a Hex. Zen Mode offers a calmer format, while Nightmare Mode sends players into confrontations with evil forces.
