Our take on City Life 2008
The bounce point arrives when city growth creates competing demands: pollution, traffic, public services, and six subcultures must be managed together. Players who want construction without civic friction may hit the wall when deteriorating relationships can trigger conflict or riots.
What is City Life 2008?
City Life 2008 Edition is a 3D city-building simulation focused on planning, construction, and municipal management.
Players create residential areas, financial districts, landmarks, workplaces, health-care facilities, and entertainment venues while managing pollution, traffic, and city finances. Six subcultures have distinct needs and can develop conflicts or riots when relationships deteriorate. The game includes Scenario and Free Mode, 50 maps across five environments, and a camera that rotates 360 degrees and zooms into the city. This edition adds 23 maps and more than 60 buildings, bringing the available total to over 360. Satellite maps, heightmaps, and other custom terrain can be imported, while a modular tool supports creating additional buildings.
