Our take on Chromosome Evil
Rather than placing the emphasis on large formations or direct control of many units, this RTS centers on a small squad with specialized roles. Expedition choices—where to search, how to equip survivors, and which route to take—sit alongside real-time defense and combat.
What is Chromosome Evil?
This real-time strategy game combines squad control with horror.
Build a team from different classes: soldiers fight enemies, engineers construct turrets and barricades or set traps at environmental points, and medics keep squad members alive. Before each expedition, select a location to search for supplies and information, equip survivors, develop their skills, and choose a route. Random events call for decisions about how to proceed. The story follows a remaining army unit investigating underground openings from which nightmare creatures are emerging. The commander also sets out to find a missing brother. The threat includes monstrous creatures and reanimated human dead, in a setting inspired by Lovecraft’s work.
