Destroyed chests immediately provide item effects that increase combat power, with higher-level chests producing stronger items. Coins earned in battle unlock weapons and abilities through a skill tree, including upgrades to attack speed, power, and chest quantity. These improvements remain after defeat. Card flips and slot machines determine rewards, while skill-tree upgrades influence reward probabilities. Missions permanently remove defeated enemy types and grant lasting rewards. Chest trait runes can be researched, combined with chests, and arranged to shape a preferred build. The stated objective is to break the seals on the Abyss Chest and release the being inside.
