What is Refence?
Refence combines idle defense with roguelite progression.
Players hire heroes to defend the castle automatically, then upgrade them and select traits according to battlefield conditions and enemy types. Castle construction provides additional upgrades and capacity for summoning more heroes. Resource management supports defensive decisions, while research unlocks abilities and quality-of-life improvements for battles. Crafted relics add further tools for resisting attacks. The game also sends heroes on quests, allowing progress while away. Its campaign involves traveling through timelines and defeating invading enemies from the Demon Realm one by one before restoring peace to the world.
