Our take on Chaos Galaxy 2
Rather than using one shared faction template, the game assigns eight faction types their own rules and planetary structures. A pirate faction can seize fleeing ships, while businesses trade and invest, revolutionaries incite planets, and aliens consume worlds for genetic resources.
What is Chaos Galaxy 2?
Lead one of 12 factions through a turn-based struggle for control of a galaxy.
Direct admirals, build fleets of warships and mecha, establish planetary facilities, research technology, and capture enemy worlds. Diplomacy can create allies and vassals or weaken opposing relationships, while commanders use special abilities and battlefield tactics. Factions follow eight different types, including empires, pirates, mercenaries, assassins, artificial intelligences, businesses, revolutionaries, and aliens, each with distinct rules and planetary buildings. Policy trees provide unique units and economic or military effects. Events cover civil wars, new weapons, lost technology, mercenary assistance, and other developments. Alien research can produce bio-mechanical forces, while faction choices shape each campaign.
