Our take on Ceville
Players who are comfortable with single-character puzzles may bounce off when a challenge requires coordinating two or more members of the cast. The same friction can appear during character switching, especially for anyone uninterested in solving problems through group cooperation.
What is Ceville?
Ceville is a humorous adventure set in Faeryanis, where former tyrant Ceville joins forces with Lilly and the knight Ambrosius against Basilus, a counsellor seeking the crown with summoned beasts.
Players explore locations including a druid circle, the former Elven Forest and the Dwarven Mines of Mount Goldmore. Up to three characters can be played at once, and many puzzles require cooperation between two or more of them. The cast includes unusual figures such as stock-broker dwarves and hippie-elves. The story follows Ceville’s attempt to oppose his former servant while Lilly tries to restore peace and Ambrosius continues pursuing Ceville.
