Our take on CD-RUN
The defining structure is a CD-player setting that changes the shared platforming conditions through events such as shuffle, slow motion, repeat, and track changes.
What is CD-RUN?
CD-RUN is a local multiplayer platformer for up to eight participants.
Players control Bits inside a CD player, running and jumping across levels that generate themselves during play. Falling behind removes a player from the round, while the objective varies by mode. Round, Score, and Collect are competitive options; Distance is cooperative. The CD player can trigger events such as acceleration, slow motion, repetition, track changes, and shuffled gameplay, altering the conditions for everyone. The game supports English, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, French, Italian, German, Japanese, Spanish, Hungarian, Ukrainian, Chinese (Simplified), and Korean. Controllers are required for groups larger than four players.
How CD-RUN plays
- 01Four Game Modes
- Round, Score, and Collect pit players against one another, while Distance supports cooperative play.

- 04Eight-Player Local Play
- Groups can include up to seven opponents, with additional controllers needed beyond four players.
- 05Multilingual Interface
- The game includes English, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, French, Italian, German, Japanese, Spanish, Hungarian, Ukrainian, Chinese (Simplified), and Korean.
