Our take on Cars with Guns: It's About Time
The focus on quick local matches comes with a narrow current structure: one primary mode and no planned online play. That limits the ways to play, even though matches support both competitive and cooperative team formats.
What is Cars with Guns: It's About Time?
Cars with Guns is a vehicle-combat game built around one mode: matches where players and AI earn points for stunts, driving, environmental destruction and attacks.
The player with the most points when time expires wins. Matches support 1–4 split-screen players and up to 12 AI opponents, with Team Battle and Free For All options. Cars can jump, spin and roll, and each can carry up to four weapon systems. Players earn credits during matches and spend them in the garage to unlock vehicles and weapons.
The current Early Access version has 15 unlockable vehicles, 12 weapons and 4 arenas. The vendor says additional modes and content are planned. Online play is not planned; the game is intended for local split-screen play.
