Rather than following modern kart-racing presentation throughout, the game treats technical limitations as part of its identity. One mode uses short tracks and restricted visibility, while another expands into low-poly circuits with loops, corkscrews, and anti-gravity sections.
What is Super Indie Karts?
Super Indie Karts is a retro-styled kart racer with two visual approaches: a 16-bit-inspired mode with compact tracks and limited visibility, and a 64-bit low-poly mode with larger anti-gravity circuits.
It includes Grand Prix, split-screen Grand Prix, Quick Race, Time Trials, Mission Mania, and Battle Mania. The Early Access version has more than 30 characters, 48 tracks across Super, Ultra, and Advanced categories, four speed classes, mirror mode, and nine battle arenas. Races include weapons and boost items such as exploding fruit, homing projectiles, slippery treats, and three boost strengths. Single-player and 2-, 3-, or 4-player split-screen modes are available.
