Our take on CloseCall
Its defining structure is a compact Early Access racing package that combines a cash-spending career with restricted, user-created arcade events.
What is CloseCall?
CloseCall is an action racing game set around the revival of a motorsport series that ended after safety rules, controversy, and internal conflict.
The current Early Access beta includes one environment with two tracks, 10 vehicles, one team affiliation, and access to all implemented customization. Arcade Mode lets players join user-created events with restricted settings. In Career Mode, players select race events, earn cash from victories, and spend it on vehicles and upgrades. The game presents racing as a high-stakes spectacle involving expensive cars and aggressive tactics. Planned additions include more event types, expanded driving challenges, vehicle destruction, reputation, sponsorships, team creation, broader car customization, and a championship structure.

CloseCall compared to similar games
CloseCall combines fictional motorsport competition with a career economy, vehicle upgrades, and user-created arcade events. GRIP: Combat Racing is also a combat-focused racing game, but its description centers on wheeled and airborne vehicles and heavy weapons rather than CloseCall's career spending and current two-track beta structure.
