Our take on Calibre 10 Racing
The two-role format creates its main trade-off: each player specializes in driving or shooting rather than controlling the full racing experience alone. That division makes communication central, but it also ties each participant’s contribution to a partner’s performance and availability.
What is Calibre 10 Racing?
Calibre 10 Racing is an online competitive game built around teams of two: one driver controls a racing vehicle while one shooter operates turrets.
Drivers race over tarmac and dirt while avoiding incoming attacks, using vehicle countermeasures such as flares and chaff. Shooters target opposing vehicles and turrets, seek advantageous turret positions around the track, and use weapon upgrades from on-track power-ups. The vendor’s initial Alpha release includes a Class 1 track, the Class 1 KLOSS racing vehicle, and stationary sniper, Gatling, and missile turrets. The game is presented as an Early Access project focused on multiplayer feedback. Additional vehicles, turrets, tracks, and progression features are described as planned updates.
