Our take on BuriedTown
The focus on day-to-day survival gives the game a contained setting, but that confinement limits the sense of a wider world. Resource gathering, shelter building, and NPC dealings take precedence over expansive exploration or a large-scale adventure.
What is BuriedTown?
BuriedTown is a survival game set on an isolated island after a wrecked canoe leaves the player in a zombie-infested town.
The adventure centers on enduring starvation, disease, and recurring danger while searching for supplies and constructing shelters. NPCs can provide interaction, assistance, and trading opportunities. An old radio connects the player with other players, while music and concise presentation accompany the experience. The setting cuts the town off from outside civilization, making survival the central concern. Players decide how to manage scarce supplies, shelter, communication, and contact with local characters while trying to remain alive for as many days as possible.
