Our take on Brigandine The Legend of Runersia
The seasonal structure gives the campaign a clear rhythm, but it also requires attention to both preparation and territorial warfare. Players seeking immediate battles may find the organization phase a slower trade-off for broader army management.
What is Brigandine The Legend of Runersia?
Runersia is divided among six powers, with over 40 bases, 100 knights, and 50 monster types.
Choose a ruler, form troops from knights and monsters, and capture enemy bases. Each season has an Organization Phase for arranging units and an Attack Phase for turn-based battles on hexagonal maps. Unit skills, elements, terrain advantages, and enclosure effects influence combat. Enemy nations also expand and attack bases, so campaigns can differ between playthroughs. Main Mode follows a chosen power's attempt to unify the continent.
Challenge Mode uses a group of ten heroes: one ruler and nine knights. Creative Mode lets players assemble armies from knights and monsters used in earlier campaigns. Completing Main Mode unlocks Alternate Chapter. The game also includes classes, equipment, items, graphics performance settings, keyboard and mouse optimization, and a battle-map HP display.
