The game departs from a single-form platforming structure by making six transformations central to play. It also combines skill-based and puzzle-based levels with Classic, Time Attack and Survival modes instead of presenting one uniform level format.
What is Box Out!?
Guide Boxy out of a factory and through the outside world by mastering six transformations: Rocket, Steel, Bubble, Spikes, Vapor and Fire.
These transformations provide six types of gameplay across 120 levels in 10 worlds, including a cold factory, a hot volcano and a watery jungle. The levels combine skill-based and puzzle-based challenges and increase in difficulty. Classic, Time Attack and Survival modes offer different play structures. Players can retry runs, work toward perfected performances and compete on leaderboards.
