Saves you a refund- Players seeking a broad campaign or many different gameplay systems may find the central interaction narrow.

- Players uninterested in timing-based shape catching may have little use for the main mechanic.
Our take on inSynch
The game presents a meditative mode alongside a highly demanding survival mode, so its tone changes sharply between them. The substantial making-of material also makes the package partly about documenting the artwork and production process, not only about arcade play.
What is inSynch?
inSynch blends arcade action with rhythm-game and instrument-like play.
Players press four keys to catch shapes that enter from each corner of the screen. In Explore mode, actions shape the music that players follow; Exploit mode is a survival challenge where the difficulty rises over time. Handmade sets and traditional stop-motion techniques give the game its visual style. Its soundtrack pairs loops with full compositions made for the gameplay. A making-of section includes photos of the set-building process and art research, along with composition notes from the two-year project. The game revisits a museum exhibition prototype from 2011.
