What is Born Into Fear?
Born Into Fear is a horror game played through Agent Jay’s perspective in North Hollow Heights, a suburban area left vacant after its population was murdered during a single night.
Working for Aegis, Jay investigates abandoned houses for experiment findings and traces of the organization’s creation, Sally, known as the Buffer. A lead connected to Jay’s missing mother has also brought him there. Players examine homes, uncover the residents’ stories, evade monsters roaming outside, and converse with some of those who once lived there. Sally sets instructions and conditions that Jay can obey to build her confidence. The narrative includes assisting dead inhabitants in passing on and determining what ultimately happens to Sally.
