Our take on Boomerang Fu
The quick-round party format keeps the focus on immediate matches, leaving little room for a long campaign or extended progression. Its simple control scheme lowers the barrier to starting, while advanced throwing techniques provide depth mainly through player mastery.
What is Boomerang Fu?
This party combat game pits up to 6 players against one another in quick rounds, using boomerangs in physics-based fights.
Players can combine power-ups such as explosive boomerangs, disguises, and telekinesis. The controls use one stick and three buttons, with advanced techniques including deflecting attacks, retrieving dropped boomerangs, and curving throws around corners. Battles take place in over 30 arenas with moving platforms, foliage, sliding walls, and other hazards. Players can team up against AI opponents or compete over a Golden Boomerang in an alternative mode. Settings allow power-ups to be switched off and friendly fire to be enabled. Steam Remote Play Together is supported; video quality and input lag vary with internet speed and hardware.
