- Gamepad users who want several attack options tied to movement and evasion
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking long-form stages may hit the short round structure quickly.
- Players who prefer passive or low-input combat may bounce off attack timing, movement inputs, and evasion choices.
- Players looking for a story-driven adventure may find the stage-based bounty-hunter format too focused on repeated combat.
Our take on Blow Away Survivors
The bounce point arrives when combat demands more than movement: rapid attacks, movement-based strong attacks, and post-evade attacks all use different inputs. Players who want one consistent attack command may find the hunter-specific control patterns demanding before the skill and weapon systems open up.
What is Blow Away Survivors?
Play as a bounty hunter across galaxy stages filled with villains.
Each stage has four rounds, beginning with regular enemies and progressing to bosses and larger groups. Rounds take 1 to 2 minutes, with a maximum length of 5 minutes. Defeated enemies provide experience for leveling up and improving skills, while dropped items support weapon customization and different builds. Combat uses enemy stability: repeated attacks reduce it until enemies fall, after which attacks can launch them into other enemies.
Hunters move with the gamepad's left stick and use three buttons for attacks and evasion. Attack inputs change based on timing and movement, including rapid, strong, and evasion attacks. More than 50 skills activate through attacking, moving, or evading, including physics-based effects such as pulling or absorbing enemies.
