Our take on BLOODLETTER
The store emphasis on its grim world and large card count may obscure the narrower structure: four entities, one realm, and repeated cleansing attempts across three difficulty levels. The experience centers on run variation rather than a broad campaign.
What is BLOODLETTER?
BLOODLETTER is a medieval deckbuilding game about treating bizarre villagers while confronting four corrupting entities.
Each entity has its own design and victory condition, and can be faced across three difficulty levels. The card pool includes more than 80 cards with distinct incantations, illustrations, and titles, plus six blessing and curse cards that alter runs. Eleven villager abilities can upgrade the deck and affect progression, while more than 10 transmuters change how cards function during an active run. Successful cleanses unlock new content. The game is set in a fantastical realm shaped by medieval myth and superstition, with more than 100 story snippets introducing its setting.
