Our take on Blasting Agent: Ultimate Edition
Rather than centering exploration or role-playing progression, the game uses a jump-and-shoot structure built around checkpoints, enemy clearing, collection thresholds, and boss fights. Hard Mode ties costume rewards to completing level collection, making those targets part of replaying stages.
What is Blasting Agent: Ultimate Edition?
Blasting Agent: Ultimate Edition is a jump-and-shoot game set in Antarctica, where an agent attacks a volcanic base run by the Black Hand of Fate.
Levels contain enemies, secrets, gold, checkpoint doors, power-ups, and boss fights. Passing through a door sets the return point after a death. Collecting at least 90% of the gold and defeating 90% of enemies in a level unlocks a power-up for that level. Hard Mode offers costume rewards for complete collection. This edition adds levels, bosses, power-ups, costumes, and music, as well as fullscreen mode, gamepad support, configurable controls, and a standalone executable. Arrow keys move, X jumps, C shoots, and Up enters doors.
