Play it if you…
Good fit- Groups of 4–10 friends who want social deduction alongside combat
- Players who enjoy bluffing and persuading others through voice or text chat
- Zombie-game fans who want to keep playing as zombies after death
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want a single-player experience will hit a wall at the 4-player minimum.
- Players who prefer steady, predictable combat may find the shift between deception, voting, shelter defense, and zombie play disruptive.
- Players who do not want to use voice or text chat may miss a central way participants communicate and make their case.
Our take on Bitten! Someone has to be a villain
The clearest sticking point is the 4-player minimum: solo players cannot start a session, and small groups below that threshold will have to find more participants before the deception and voting begin.
What is Bitten! Someone has to be a villain?
This multiplayer game supports 4–10 players.
Traitors try to kill other players without drawing attention, while innocent players defend a shelter from zombies and collect weapons and power-ups. Some power-ups, such as scanners, can reveal who may be a traitor. Players can vote against people they suspect, and use voice or text chat to argue their case. After dying, players become zombies and can recruit other zombies to seek revenge. Players can also customize their character, add friends, and cooperate as a team. The game centers on shifting between deception, suspicion, shelter defense, and zombie play.
How Bitten! Someone has to be a villain plays
