What is Beholgar?
Beholgar is a 2D metroidvania action adventure set across caverns, ancient woods, and castles.
Players control a barbarian who must confront an evil threat summoned by a sorcerer. Exploration involves battling beasts, solving ancient mysteries, and returning to previously visited areas after gaining skills that open new routes. Progression includes spells, increased strength, magic rings, weapons, items, and other abilities. The game uses handcrafted pixel animation and includes eight tracks prepared by musician Andrea Baroni. Its quest takes place in a threatened kingdom, with discovery and ability-based access shaping movement between locations.
