Our take on Leowald
The feature list gives substantial space to weapon upgrades, gear, and added modes, while the main objective is only briefly framed as finding a holy grail. The description provides little detail about how exploration and combat connect across the adventure.
What is Leowald?
Leowald is an action-adventure sequel to Zeran's Folly.
Players follow Felix or Felicia on a first solo adventure, exploring places, fighting enemies, and searching for a holy grail. The game offers eight weapons that can be switched instantly and leveled up to increase their power and open upgrade slots. Armor ratings make equipment upkeep part of combat, while magic rings improve abilities. A Hip Flask provides temporary increases to attack and defense, or can slow time. The game also includes outfits, enemy hordes, and minigames such as Gel Blast, Blackjack, and Hoverboard Surfing. Destroyer Mode is a hard mode that disables upgrades. Controller support includes a rebinding menu, and the game has German and Swiss German localizations.
