Our take on Be My Horde
Instead of making the protagonist the main combatant, the game places an undead army between the player and the battlefield. Fallen enemies become the central resource, turning the usual survivor-roguelite loop of dodging and attacking into one focused on recruitment, horde growth, and indirect control.
What is Be My Horde?
Play as Moriana, a necromancer who turns defeated enemies into undead followers.
Rather than attacking directly, command a growing horde across realms with distinct visuals, enemies, mechanics, and bosses. Gather souls during runs to obtain perks and improve abilities, then develop the Dominion base with structures that provide lasting upgrades. Fallen enemies become resources, while environmental hazards such as meteors, volcanic eruptions, and corrupted trees can affect battles. Runs can be brief or extended, with progression continuing after death through new skills, powers, forms of necromancy, and story discoveries. Fully voiced conversations develop Moriana’s story between crusades, supported by hand-drawn 2D art and a soundtrack combining metal, jazz, and classical styles.
