Our take on BattleSky VR
The aerial movement focus gives the game a distinct combat structure but narrows its appeal to players comfortable with VR flight. Character variety is also limited to three available heroes, with more presented as future additions.
What is BattleSky VR?
BattleSky VR is a multiplayer first-person shooter set in virtual reality, with players fighting from the air.
Three heroes are currently available: Draco, Jet-9, and Lady V. Each has different abilities and movement, including winged flight, hand thrusters, teleportation, fireballs, and a gravity gun. Online play includes Team Deathmatch, Team Escort, Free For All, Attack and Defend, and other team-based modes supporting up to 4v4 players. The game requires a VR system. It initially supports HTC Vive for Early Access, while the vendor also reports compatibility with Oculus and playability on WMR, where some hand movements may cause hand tracking to be lost. Single-player hero missions and additional cooperative missions are described as planned content.
