Prisoners search towns, factories, a military base and other ruined locations for weapons, protective equipment and medical supplies. The play area contracts during each match, forcing encounters as players choose between attacking opponents, stealing their items or hiding. Zombies also occupy the island and add another threat. The game supports teaming up with friends to coordinate attacks and ambushes. Its perspective is top-down, departing from the third-person view also used in the description. A match ends when one player remains. A persistent internet connection is required.
