Our take on Deadly Days

The randomized run structure creates variety but gives up control over the tools and survivors available in each attempt. Progress depends on adapting to what appears, while the procedural format leaves less room for a carefully scripted sequence of missions.

What is Deadly Days?

Deadly Days is a strategic rogue-lite set during a zombie apocalypse.

Players manage and protect survivors while searching procedurally generated cities and completing missions. Each attempt uses a different mix of objects, special abilities, weapons, survivors, cities, and objectives. The game includes more than 60 objects, over 30 special abilities, more than 25 weapon types with random modifications, over 55 survivors, and more than 10 zombie types. Three specialties provide additional unlocks, while three bosses conclude the campaign. Base expansion adds rooms such as a greenhouse and mechanic room, along with weapon crafting. Integrated Twitch features let viewers become survivors and influence the next mission.
