- Fans of arcade-style vehicle combat who prefer sea settings

Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking deep naval simulation rather than simple top-down shooting
- Players who want open-ended progression instead of a level-based campaign with a main enemy
- Players looking for broad adventure systems beyond combat, missions, and ship bonuses
Our take on Battle of Frigates
Its focus on direct top-down combat keeps the structure simple, but that leaves less room for the broader systems found in detailed naval or adventure simulations. Mission variety and ship bonuses add some change between encounters without replacing the arcade-style core.
What is Battle of Frigates?
Battle of Frigates is a top-down shooter set on the water.
Players control a frigate and face hostile frigates, bosses, guns, and mines across multiple levels and missions. Objectives include finding treasure, rescuing victims, and defeating enemies. Collected bonuses can increase the ship’s speed, strength, and ability to withstand hits. Enemies pursue the ship while it works toward its mission. If the frigate is destroyed, the player can escape by boat and locate another ship. The game centers on completing all levels and defeating the main enemy, with missions and sea combat providing the core structure.
