Our take on Battle Fleet: Ground Assault
Players may hit a wall at the firing step, where each shot requires ammunition selection and manual control of angle and power. Those seeking quick attacks or automated targeting may find repeated engagements demanding when armor placement and tank areas affect the battle.
What is Battle Fleet: Ground Assault?
Command tank battalions through World War II battles in Western Europe.
Each turn combines unrestricted movement with manual control over shot angle and power. Select high-explosive or armor-piercing ammunition, target different parts of enemy tanks, and use cover, artillery, reconnaissance aircraft, airstrikes, and command cards during engagements. The game includes a Western Europe campaign, single-player scenarios, random skirmishes, cross-platform multiplayer, and hotseat multiplayer. Build an army from 20 tanks, with each faction’s vehicles differing in armor, guns, mobility, and hit locations. Tank commanders gain experience during campaign battles, while destructible environments add further tactical considerations. The game also supports battles between VR and desktop players.
