Our take on Bakeborough
The organ-swapping premise gives character customization a distinctive role, but ties stat changes to body parts rather than describing a broader equipment-based system.
What is Bakeborough?
Bakeborough is an exploration-focused RPG set in a bakery town.
The story follows a search for the main character’s missing boyfriend, who has been captured by an insect hive mind. Exploring the town and other locations reveals mysteries while action-based fights pit the character against insects threatening their friends. Organ swapping changes character stats, and removing the character’s eyes allows them to see ghosts and hidden objects. The game also includes taking organs from companions as a prank and trying to date a bun.
