Our take on Wrought Flesh
The bounce point arrives at the organ system: players seeking conventional equipment-based progression may stop when body parts become the route to changing stats. The mix of saint-built anatomy, biopunk enemies, and space bandits also divides players seeking a familiar science-fiction tone.
What is Wrought Flesh?
Play as a Gajeshian Cultist, a near-mythological being assembled from the bodies of long-dead saints.
On the partially terraformed planet of Chrisembourgh, follow a temple-ordained mission to find and kill a target, tracing the victim’s steps through the world. Combat includes biopunk monsters and drugged-up space bandits. An organ-based stat system lets the character remove organs from enemies and equip them in their own body. Eight guns and a literal finger gun provide weapons. The game includes 10 unique enemies, three boss fights, dozens of quests, and three biomes to explore.
