What is Arken Age?
Arken Age takes place in the Bio-Chasm, a terraformed fantasy world threatened by neural corruption.
Its VR combat uses physical sword and gun interactions, including shooting, dismembering, and crushing enemies. Three Hyperion weapons can be customized and painted, with 30 mods to find. Movement includes free locomotion, jumping, climbing with integrated picks, and swimming. The world contains items to collect, alien lifeforms to befriend, and story revelations about the Nara, the Grand Arborist, and the Celestial Custodian. Players can make syringes, refine scrap metal into alloy, and craft weapons. The campaign includes multi-stage boss fights and lasts 10–15 hours or more; a replayable combat mode is also included.
