We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Two local players who enjoy stealth contests and direct mind games
- Fans of hide-and-seek games who want lethal one-hit combat
- Players interested in short tactical duels with character-specific abilities
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking extended fights or forgiving combat will hit the one-hit-kill rule immediately.
- Those who dislike prediction-based stealth may bounce off the cooldown penalty after misjudging an opponent's position.
- Players looking for a solo format or online multiplayer will not find those formats in the described play structure.
Our take on BADBLOOD
The bounce point arrives when a wrong location prediction triggers the cooldown: vulnerability follows immediately, and one attack can end the match. Players who prefer readable arenas or recoverable mistakes may find the disorientation and one-hit combat too unforgiving.
What is BADBLOOD?
BADBLOOD is a local split-screen game for two players, built around hide-and-seek with lethal consequences.
Each player moves and fights across a grid using stealth, spatial awareness, disorientation, and ambushes. The game uses discrete movement, different directional perspectives, and a cooldown that leaves a player vulnerable after a wrong prediction. Combat follows a one-hit-kill rule, so either opponent can win through careful positioning. Four characters—the Hunter, Mechanic, Kid, and Hitwoman—have distinct abilities that affect play. Matches take place in handcrafted or randomly generated fields. Two modes are included: Find & Kill and Hunting Season.
