Our take on ARENA GODS®
Instead of relying on fixed movesets and extended exchanges, this arena fighter makes objects part of the combat system. One-hit weapons, disarming, projectile catches, and shifting arenas replace the predictable structure of standard fighting-game rounds.
What is ARENA GODS®?
ARENA GODS® is a top-down combat game set in shifting arenas, where two, three, or four gladiators battle until only one remains.
Fighters can attack with weapons or without them, using strikes and throws while upright or grounded. Arena items may become hand-held weapons or airborne projectiles. Flying objects can be intercepted or redirected. Many weapons are lethal on contact, though opponents can remove any weapon, and each one offers different advantages and drawbacks. The battleground changes after every round, giving each match a different setting. Players portray gladiators in a public deathmatch.
