Our take on Asylum Nightmares
The presentation emphasizes fear, darkness, and a tense asylum setting, while the described play centers on shooting zombies, restoring power, and surviving waves. The atmosphere frames a direct combat structure rather than a broad horror adventure.
What is Asylum Nightmares?
This survival-horror title takes place inside a gloomy asylum overrun by zombies.
In the story campaign, players use a maintenance lift to move between levels. Every level starts in darkness, so electricity must be restored before the undead can be eliminated and the route forward opened. Firearms and ammunition are available across the building, but scarce supplies make careful use necessary. Horde mode is built around enduring repeated zombie waves. Defeating enemies awards points that can open further sections of the asylum and provide access to more weapons. Some fallen zombies leave behind health, extra ammunition, or a temporary double-score boost. Successive waves become more difficult, making this mode focus on survival time, scoring, and access to equipment.
