Is ASTROSWARM worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Solo action players who want to defend a module against enemy swarms
- Players who enjoy selecting weapons, turrets, and power-ups during combat
- Players who want permanent upgrades and modifiers to shape later battles
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who dislike sustained waves of enemies may hit a wall when attackers press toward the module.
- Players seeking a broad, non-combat exploration experience may find the repeated defense and upgrade cycle too narrow.
- Players looking for multiplayer cooperation will not find a team-based mode in this lone-astronaut game.
Our take on ASTROSWARM
The bounce point is the module defense itself: attackers arrive in unrelenting waves, requiring turret construction alongside weapon and power-up choices. Players who do not enjoy maintaining a defensive setup under constant pressure may stop at this system.
What is ASTROSWARM?
Play as a lone astronaut fighting waves of zombified astronauts across different planets while searching for the source of the blight.
Build turrets to protect a module from attackers, and use a range of weapons and power-ups during battles. Defeating enemies grants levels, which provide access to additional power-ups and weapons. Resources collected in combat can be spent on permanent upgrades and on obtaining new weapons, turrets, and other additions. The game also includes synergies that increase the effects of selected options, along with modifiers that can substantially change the way the astronaut plays. The objective is to keep the module protected while resisting the incoming swarm and progressing through the planetary search.
