Our take on Astronaut Simulator
The defining experience is astronaut-perspective movement in zero gravity: each mission combines free-flight navigation with resource management, repairs, and a required return dock before drifting away from the Shuttle.
What is Astronaut Simulator?
Astronaut Simulator presents free-flight space missions from an astronaut helmet viewpoint.
Across 20 missions, players travel among historical spacecraft and facilities, including the Agena docking target, Skylab, MIR, and the Hubble telescope. Each mission involves reaching waypoints and repair positions while managing oxygen, fuel, and electricity. After completing the work, players must dock with the Space Shuttle rather than drift away into space. The game uses retro-style 3D graphics and includes atmospheric chatter drawn from real space missions. It supports the Oculus Rift DK1 for virtual reality play and an Xbox 360 controller.
