Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a relaxed space experience may hit a wall in the unforgiving zero-gravity battles, where ship and weapon control must be mastered.
- Players wanting a simple arcade shooter may find the combination of thruster movement, squad orders, shields, and varied weapons demanding.
- Players looking for ground-based combat will not find that setting here; the action takes place in spacecraft among space environments.
Our take on ASTROKILL
The bounce point arrives during combat control: players must manage six-degrees-of-freedom movement, weapon types, shields, and squad instructions while navigating zero gravity. Those expecting a straightforward shooter may struggle once engagements add mines, interceptors, capital ships, and changing battle conditions.
What is ASTROKILL?
ASTROKILL is a space combat game focused on ballistic dogfights between two opposing factions.
Campaign missions and standalone missions let players engage fighters, turrets, freighters, capital ships, and mines. Available spacecraft include fighters, gunships, interceptors, and medics, with first- or third-person views. Combat combines machine guns, flak cannons, missile launchers, rail guns, lasers, and EMP missiles. Ships use six-degrees-of-freedom thruster controls and an anti-gravity shield system. Players can direct squad members to guard areas, hold positions, or rearm at hangars, while medic ships repair and rearm allied wingmen. The game supports mouse and keyboard, gamepad, and joystick controls, with customizable mappings. Battles take place among planets, moons, asteroids, and debris in zero gravity.
