Our take on Armored Suit Solgante
Players who struggle with movement-heavy combat may hit the wall during missions, where enemy fire must be dodged while attacking from a distance. Another pressure point is armor management: allowing the suit's damage to reach its limit causes the mission to fail.
What is Armored Suit Solgante?
Armored Suit Solgante is a top-down combat RPG about a mech pilot defending Radulta while investigating accusations of being a double agent.
Missions involve crossing different environments, avoiding enemy fire, selecting weapons suited to opposing enemies, and completing objectives before armor damage reaches its limit. Between battles, the pilot can explore the city around the base and see changes, including interactions with his wife, Eleanor. The story offers several directions: remain loyal to Colonel Daston, investigate the traitor with Sergeant Harry, or pursue the robotics resources of Sharkam Corporation. Machine guns, rifles, and grenade launchers provide different loadout options, while New Game+ unlocks all weapons.
