What is Archon Classic?
Archon Classic combines a chess-inspired board with real-time combat.
Challenging an opposing piece sends the selected fighters into an arena, where the winner takes control of the contested square. Victory comes from eliminating the opponent’s board pieces or occupying every Power Square. Matches support Free-for-All play and team battles, including two-against-one encounters, with up to four players. The game includes three board modes, four AI settings with three personality types, spells, summonable creatures, experience and level progression, and primary and secondary abilities. A single-player Conquest campaign contains four campaigns and more than 60 quests, with over 16 hours of stated gameplay. USB controllers, keyboard, and mouse are supported, alongside statistics, achievements, and leaderboards.
