This romantic visual novel takes place in an alternate 20XX in which the 1983 crash of the video-game industry did not happen.
Players start a job at the Funplex arcade, encountering its employees and visitors. Customization covers pronouns, hairstyle, skin tone, hair shade, eye color, and additional choices shown during play and in illustrations. Roleplaying decisions develop personality and social bonds, ranging from friendship and platonic ties to romance with seven characters. The IRIS tracking system records relationships and traits including Quirky, Steady, Kindly, Gutsy, and Basically. Choices about connections, character qualities, crisis responses, and other events influence the arcade’s later direction. Pressing V during loading enables self-voicing and accessible menus for screen reader users.
