Play it if you…
Good fit- Strategy players who want turn-based mech battles with deckbuilding
- Tactical players who enjoy manipulating buildings during combat
- Roguelike fans who prefer repeated alien-invasion runs with city defense
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking real-time combat may find the turn-based structure too measured
- Players wanting a large mech roster may find three available mechs restrictive
- Players who prefer fixed battlefields may not enjoy repositioning buildings as part of combat
Our take on ARC SEED
Instead of treating the battlefield as fixed terrain, the game makes city structures part of the attack plan. Buildings can block shots, provide cover, or crush enemies, while evacuation adds a civic objective before destruction becomes useful.
What is ARC SEED?
ARC SEED is a turn-based tactical game combining mech combat, deckbuilding, city defense, and environmental destruction.
Players select a pilot and mech, then upgrade systems, weapons, and equipment while assembling a deck for battles against interstellar Angels. Three mechs are currently available. City defenses can include artillery, turrets, and other combat assets carried by the mech. Buildings can be pushed or pulled, used as cover or obstacles, and positioned to crush enemies. Citizens must be evacuated before empty buildings can be used offensively. The game includes roguelike replay structure and multiple game modes, with government rewards tied to successful evacuations.

ARC SEED compared to similar games
Shogun Showdown also combines turn-based combat, deckbuilding, upgrades, and roguelike structure, but ARC SEED adds mechs, city defenses, citizen evacuation, and destructible urban environments. Xenonauts focuses on commanding persistent military squads against an alien invasion, while ARC SEED centers on mech equipment, deck construction, and manipulating buildings during battles.
