Its mix of platforming and turn-based combat asks players to switch between jumping through stages and command-based fights. That combination leaves less room for either a platformer’s continuous action or an RPG built around battles alone.
What is Another Crusade?
Join Rai Reysend and his companions as they investigate cosmic barriers that appeared following a meteor shower.
The adventure moves through stages of running, jumping, treasure searches, puzzles, and quests. Combat follows a turn-based RPG format, where timed commands can boost attacks and defenses. Button sequences can also amplify magic. The game features hidden discoveries, comic characters, and humorous events. Choose a difficulty at the start of a new game, with the option to adjust it afterward through the options menu. An easier mode is available. In the Swamp level, a marker indicates where Rai is expected to land on platforms. Items carried before a battle are retained after a game over.
