Our take on Anomaly Korea
Rather than placing defenses and waiting for attacks, the game puts the player in charge of the invading force. Its central structure is a tactical assault: select a route, manage squad composition and powers, then push through districts occupied by alien robots.
What is Anomaly Korea?
Anomaly Korea is an expansion campaign for Anomaly Warzone Earth, set during an alien invasion of Korea.
Across 12 missions, players command a squad from a top-down view, assemble units, plan routes on a tactical map, and activate powers such as Boost to speed up offensive action. The game reverses the usual tower-defense role: instead of building defensive towers, players lead an attacking force through districts occupied by alien robots. New units, powers, and enemy types add tactical choices to the campaign. The separate Art of War mode provides additional trials. Anomaly Korea is available on Steam for PC, Mac, and Linux.
